Tasks:

  • Plan, film, and produce high-quality video content for major team projects such as the car rollout, sponsor presentations and videos, and competition coverage
  • Adapt content to different platforms (formats, length, style)
  • Create cinematic videos and highlight films that showcase the team, the car, and our development process
  • Work with the marketing team to develop video concepts for sponsors, presentations, and promotional content
  • Ensure all video content reflects the team’s corporate identity

Profile:

  • Basic experience in videography, filming techniques, and video editing
  • Familiarity with editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar tools
  • Understanding of camera operation, lighting, framing, and storytelling
  • Creative mindset with attention to detail and visual quality
  • Reliable and able to collaborate closely with the marketing and media team

What awaits you:

Joining our Formula Student team as a Videographer means becoming responsible for capturing the most important moments of the team in a professional and cinematic way. Your work will help present our project to sponsors, partners, and the public through high-quality video content. You will document key milestones such as the vehicle rollout, testing phases, competitions, and official events. These productions will showcase the dedication, technology, and teamwork behind the development of our race car. In close collaboration with the marketing team, you will help create videos that strengthen our external image to  e.g. sponsors, potential members and the public. This role offers the opportunity to work creatively while producing content with a higher production value and long-term impact for the team. At the same time, you will gain hands-on experience in videography, event coverage, and professional storytelling within an exciting engineering project.

Beyond the creative work, you will become part of a passionate student team that shares an enthusiasm for innovation, motorsport, and pushing limits.

Time expenditure: At least 10 hours per Week
