Tasks:
- Developing cooling solutions for an electronic drive train
- Optimizing water based cooling circuits
- CFD simulations of heat exchangers and cooling components
- Coolant line routing
- Developing concepts for an air cooled drive train
Profile:
- God understanding of thermodynamics
- basic CAD skills
- basics of simulation software
- Matlab basics
- basic understanding of automotive heat management
What awaits you:
You will be tasked with the development of a thermal management system which should keep the Eelektrik motors and the inverter within operating temperatures. You will work together with many other departments like the accumulator, chassis, aerodynamics, powertrain, and VCU.
One of your priorities will be to simplify the cooling system as much as possible and maybe integrate air cooling solutions for several components which are currently water cooled.
