Tasks:

Designing and manufacturing of electrical wiring harnesses for low and high voltage systems on motorsports standards which includes:

  • Routing different signals and power supplies on eCAD and determine length based on measurements in mCAD
  • Preparing, cutting, terminating, and labelling wires to exact specifications
  • Support fault-finding, testing and quality checks
  • Carry out soldering, crimping, heat-shrinking, and loom preparation using approved tools and techniques.
  • Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment

Profile:

  • Strong interest in automotive, electrical engineering and motorsport
  • Optional: First Experience with eCAD (i.e. KiCAD) or mCAD (i.e. SolidWorks, Creo, FreeCAD)

What awaits you:

Our wiring harness supplies different PCBs, the inverter and engines with energy from our accumulator and transmit data in real time speed. It is an essential part of our electrical performance and reliability.

In order to plan the manufacturing, you get to know our software tools Altium and Creo for eCAD and mCAD for designing our wiring harness. You assemble the wiring harness to meet motorsport safety standards and work with professional crimping and soldering with connectors and wires used in motorsports. In addition you will be working closely with experienced technicians to meet build deadlines and test the wiring harness on safety.

Time expenditure: At least 10 hours per Week
