CAD Engineer – Chassis

Tasks:

  • Cooperate with other chassis members in developing chassis components in CAD
  • Create 3D models, assemblies, and technical drawings for manufacturing
  • Collaborate with suspension, powertrain, and aerodynamics teams to integrate components into the chassis
  • Perform design iterations based on packaging constraints and performance requirements
  • Assist with manufacturing

Profile:

We are looking for a motivated Chassis CAD Engineer to join our Formula Student engineering team. In this role, you will design and develop the vehicle chassis structure using CAD tools while working closely with the suspension, aerodynamics, and powertrain teams to ensure structural integrity, manufacturability, and optimal vehicle performance.

This is a hands-on engineering role ideal for students interested in vehicle design, structural engineering, and motorsport development.

Requirements:

  • Experience with Creo or similar CAD software
  • Understanding of mechanical design principles and basic vehicle structures
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • High availability to work in the workshop
