Overall Vehicle Simulation Manager

Tasks:

  • Modelling of real-world vehicle systems
  • Development of driving modes for running simulations under different conditions
  • Programming of a user-friendly GUI to improve usability of the simulation tools
  • Creation of a 3D environment to replicate real-world tracks using Unreal Engine
  • Conducting virtual test drives to identify issues and optimization potential before physical testing
  • Continuous validation and improvement of simulation models based on real test data

Profile:

  • Interest in vehicle dynamics and system simulation
  • Basic programming skills (e.g. Python, C++, or MATLAB) are an advantage
  • Experience with MATLAB/Simulink is beneficial but not required – all necessary skills will be taught during the project
  • Interest in working with Unreal Engine or similar 3D environments
  • Passion for mathematically describing real systems and translating them into code
  • Analytical mindset with a structured and solution-oriented way of working

What awaits you:

As an Overall Vehicle Simulation Manager, you are responsible for creating, developing, and maintaining the virtual model of our vehicle.
You will play a key role in enabling data-driven development by predicting vehicle behavior and supporting design decisions before physical prototypes are built.

You will gain hands-on experience in:

  • Vehicle dynamics and simulation methodologies
  • Software development and system modelling
  • Working in an interdisciplinary engineering team
  • Bridging the gap between virtual development and real-world testing
