Tasks:
- Plan, organize, and execute team events, including e.g. recruitment events, competitions, internal team building events
- Prepare and maintain checklists for events, including packlists, food plan, and other essentials.
- Coordinate on-site support during events and competitions, making sure team members have everything they need
- Assist in setting up and planning presentation areas for sponsors, workshops, or public events
- Evaluate past events to suggest improvements for efficiency, engagement, or comfort
- Work with the marketing team to organize event-related visual materials (e.g. banners, videos, printed info)
- Oversee recruitment, manage applications and integration of new members
Profile:
- Experience in event planning, coordination, or HR-related tasks is a plus
- You love to stay organized and on time
- Ability to communicate clearly and work with diverse teams
- Proactive and solution-oriented mindset, able to handle multiple tasks at once
- Reliable and able to work independently while collaborating with other departments
What awaits you:
Joining our Formula Student team as an HR & Event Manager means becoming a central part of our team’s organization and growth. You will help ensure that our events run smoothly, that new members are welcomed and integrated effectively. Your work will cover everything from organizing recruitment events and workshops to coordinating travel and logistics for competitions. You will collaborate closely with the rest of the management team to make sure every event reflects our team. This role offers hands-on experience in event management, team coordination, and HR processes, all within an exciting student engineering project.
Beyond organizational tasks, you will be part of a passionate student team that shares a love for motorsport, teamwork, and innovation.
Time expenditure: At least 10 hours per Week
